The SharpEye™ MK11 Turning Unit is a highly reliable, up mast, high performance X or S band radar ideally suited to marine navigation and collision avoidance. For non-IMO applications the system can be enhanced to provide tactical situation awareness and helicopter detection and recovery functions.
The MK11 turning unit is constructed using the latest in composite material construction and contains;

o Internal direct drive brushless AC motor with PWM drive control.
o Shaft encoder
o Power Supplies and electrical filters
o Internal Anti Condensation Heaters and external fans.
